When an order is placed, Inhero automatically prompts the storage facility (commercial or private) to confirm availability. That response is sent to the seller, prompting them to confirm the sale. When confirmed, the storage facility is notified to process and ship the order.
Inhero processes all sales using the payment gateway “Stripe”. After a sale is confirmed, all funds are held in escrow for 7 days before distribution to the nominated bank account.
Shipping is at the discretion of the storage facility (commercial or private). All shipping and handling processes and invoices are managed by the applicable storage facility. The buyer’s billing details are provided to the storage facility for shipping and handling fees.

Inhero will triage your order and work with the parties involved to source the product. In circumstances where product is stored in multiple locations, Inhero will work to make arrangements to meet the order. If acquiring more product isn’t possible, Inhero will make efforts to direct buyers toward alternative options.
No. Buyers can only order one item at a time. This eliminates invoicing errors and simplifies workflows for third party providers, eg. storage facilities.
Inhero accepts credit card payments up to $10,000. Thereafter, buyers will be directed to use our BECS direct debit system, which automatically generates an invoice.
No. Once an order has been approved by both the storage facility and the seller, the shipping process initiates and is then handled external to Inhero.
Shipping is managed in the traditional format, whereby storage facilities (commercial or private) receive a notification of the order awaiting fulfillment. Both buyers and sellers are notified when orders are processed and shipped, with tracking details when available.
Any incidents during shipping and handling are the responsibility of the storage facility and/or the shipping company.
Limits only apply when stock volumes are depleted. Both buyers and sellers will be notified in this case to prevent sales on unavailable genetics. Contact us to discuss options around custom collecting in-demand sires to meet buying needs.
All sires with semen available for purchase must be registered with the applicable breed society. Sellers are encouraged to include as much detail and accreditation information as possible on all listings to instil buyer confidence.
Listings are active for 12 months from the date of payment for the first listing. Listings will automatically renew at the 12 month mark and sellers are notified when that date is approaching.
Inhero will direct order details to the storage location nearest to the buyer’s delivery address.
You will receive shipping instructions and be responsible for arranging delivery and invoicing the buyer for associated costs, external to Inhero.
Yes. “Stripe” is a global payment provider with internal comprehensive checks and safeguards to protect your transaction. All funds are held in escrow until delivery.
Inhero listings cost $145.00 + GST per listing per year. There is a 6% commission on each sale.
